A rural doctor recounts his family’s story of gun violence

“I want to prevent gun violence because I’m a rural physician, I’m a father, a grandfather and I think it’s my duty to help prevent gun violence.”

Every year, more than 600 American women are fatally shot by their intimate partners. That’s one domestic violence death nearly every 14 hours.
