Significant progress was made in 2023 to make Minnesota a safer place to live and raise a family. Our coalition hopes to continue this momentum to see progress made on seven issues.
Minnesota law allows certain people to request an order from the court to prohibit someone from purchasing or possessing a firearm. This type of order is called an Extreme Risk Protection Order (ERPO).
With violent political rhetoric on the rise, it is imperative that all places where votes are cast be safe.

As we’re gearing up for the 2023 elections and the 2024 legislative session, it’s more important than ever that the gun violence prevention community has the chance to connect with each other, share our priorities, and voice our hopes for the coming months and years.
