Duluth Wear Orange Day

Wear Orange Day – Duluth

Protect Minnesota is joining our partners at the Brady Campaign, Every Town for Gun Safety, Moms Demand Action and scores of other national organizations in participating in Wear Orange Day on June 2, 2016. We are sponsoring events in both Duluth and Minneapolis.

In Duluth:

1 pm — There will be a press event at the fountains in front of the Duluth City Hall, during which Mayor Larson will proclaim June 2nd Wear Orange Day. We want as big of crowd there as possible, wearing orange of course! If weather permits participants may walk into the downtown area to call attention to the importance of preventing gun violence. We will have signs and give-aways.

8:30 pm — Gather at Enger Park at the Peace Bell to ring the bell for victims of gun violence. Then we’ll go to Enger Tower and watch as it is lit up in orange to commemorate the day.

Register here your intention to participate and we’ll send you a reminder the day before. So get your orange on and take a stand against gun violence!
