Protect Minnesota stands with the victims of the Aurora shootings and asks for reasonable gun legislation to protect our communities

Many articles and blogs have been written in the wake of the mass shooting in Aurora, Colorado. We are learning who the victims were. We are hearing from politicians. There is never an easy solution. But Protect Minnesota believes that we must find a way to have a discussion about the issue of gun violence and what we can do as a country to reduce it and prevent it. Is "gun control" dead? We would not like to think so. Protect Minnesota will continue to ask our leaders to do the right thing and stand with the victims of gun violence. With your help we can demand reasonable restrictions on who can get guns and what types of guns people can access. We need to demand that people who should not be able to buy dangerous weapons like those used in the Colorado shooting can't buy them. We can do better and we must do better at protecting our communities.

Here is a list of names of the 12 who were shot in the movie theater early Friday morning.
